David D. Warren, 79, died Thursday, October 12, 2017, at his home in East Jordan.

  He was born on April 8, 1938, in Brighton, Michigan. He served in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne Division and the 101st Airborne Division “Screaming Eagles”.

He was also a member of the American Legion Post in Mississippi.  David enjoyed fishing and camping.

  He is survived by five children, Rhonda (Dan) O’Connell of Charlevoix, Michael (Brenda) Benson of Harvard, Illinois, Cheryl (Larry) Darrah of Charlevoix, David (Ruth) Benson of Mississippi and Robert (Jennifer) Warren of East Jordan; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and two sisters, Sherry (Butch) Sarasin and Debbie (Joseph) Froats, all of East Jordan.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betsy Ann Warren in 2004; his parents, one son, Allen Primrose; one daughter, Danielle Warren; and one brother, Bob Warren.
