Mary Ann was a friend from the 1st day of Kindergarten through Our Lady of Fatima, Marion HS, and Michigan State. I'd seen her in Clarkston many years ago but was gobsmacked when I saw her obituary. I'm sitting on a cruiseship in Singapore harbor but can still remember drawing together on her bed as a pre-teen. We lived on the 1st block of Wales while she lived on the 2nd block. I'm so sorry.

Dave, I've never met you. However Mary Ann's support of you during your knee surgery and other smaller things shared with her yoga friends will always be an inspiration. We all miss her bright, engaging smile and radiant joy. Will hold your family in my heart.

My condolences to the Whipp family on your loss of Mary Ann. She was an excellent teacher and an even better human being in the years we knew each other at Lakes. Mary Ann became dear to me in a short period of time. As my son's mother-in-law that may seem out of the ordinary! Only such a special, caring woman could capture the heart as she did. I'm so blessed to have her touch my life. May God comfort Mary Ann's family and bless them with joyous memories.
