Kurt A. LaBeau, 40, of East Jordan, died on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, in East Jordan.
He was born on December 14, 1978, in Charlevoix, the son of James H. and Nancy E. (Bennett) LaBeau.
He grew up in East Jordan and graduated from East Jordan High School in 1997.
Kurt had worked at Family Fair, formerly Glen’s Market, in Grayling and East Jordan for over twenty years.
He was a sports fan. He loved the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and University of Michigan.
He is survived by Tina Clark and their two sons, Brayson LaBeau and Preston LaBeau, all of Grayling; his parents, James H. and Nancy E. LaBeau of East Jordan; two brothers, Darrell J. LaBeau of East Jordan and Mark A. (Heather) LaBeau of Englewood, Florida; one niece, Allison LaBeau of Englewood, Florida; one nephew, Nolan LaBeau of Englewood, Florida; as well as a lifelong friend of Kurt whom he called “brother”, Kenny Young of Elmira. Kurt was preceded in death by all of his grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at 1:00 P.M. at the Lighthouse Missionary Church, 7874 Rogers Road, East Jordan with interment at Sunset Hill Cemetery in East Jordan.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Lighthouse Missionary Church.
