Margaret Raupp, 96, died on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Grandvue Medical Care Facility in East Jordan.

  She was born on July 16, 1921, in Monessen, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Thomas and Thersa (Matthews) Fesko. 

  She married Richard “Dick” Raupp and they raised two daughters in Ecorse, Michigan.  Margaret had worked as a secretary for the public schools.  After they both retired, they moved to their summer home on Dutchmans Bay Road near East Jordan.

  Margaret loved hats and music.

  She is survived by one daughter Sherrill (Gerald) Vargo of Taylor; four grandchildren; one brother, Edward Fesko of Tower, Michigan; and one sister, Irene Rushman of Wyandotte.  Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Raupp on November 23, 1978 and daughter, Nancy Raupp on December 27, 2016.

  A Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at 12:00 Noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Jordan.  The family will receive friends at church on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until service time.

  Interment will be in Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, Michigan.
