Rose M. Carson, 85, of East Jordan died Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire.
  She was born on November 17, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of John and Jessie (Bolser) Krolikowski.
  She married Boyd Carson on May 15, 1971.  She worked as a spot welder at Dura Automotive in East Jordan.
  Rose is survived by her husband Boyd Carson of East Jordan; five children, Stephen (Inelda) Renkiewicz of Bay City, Thomas (Robin) Renkiewicz of East Jordan, Charles (Kelly) Renkiewicz of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, Kathleen (Jim Blaha) Smeltzer of East Jordan, William (Kristin) Carson of East Jordan; 20 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; one sister, Violet Muszynski of Bloomfield Hills; as well as nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one son, John Renkiewicz; one grandson, Alex Carson; one great great grandchild, Ashley Carruthers; her parents and two brothers, Charles Krolikowski and Felix Krolikowski.
  A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Jordan.
  The family was served by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. in East Jordan.
