Anne Marie (Nachazel) Pinney

 Anne Marie Pinney, 44, of Kalkaska and formerly of East Jordan, died on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan.

 She was born on June 22, 1977, in Oxnard, California.  She graduated from East Jordan High School in 1995.  On September 5, 2002, in Las Vegas, Nevada, she married her high school sweetheart, Brian Pinney.

  Anne enjoyed arts and crafts, watching TV soap operas, making jewelry, reading, walking, swimming and spending time at the beach.  Most of all, she loved being a “Mom” to two beautiful children and was excited for the arrival of her first grandchild.

 She is survived by her husband, Brian Pinney of Kalkaska; son, Dillon (Ayla) Pinney of Kalkaska; daughter Ashley Pinney of Kalkaska; mother, Bonnie Lee (Bob) Jones of Ocala, Florida; father, David Nachazel of Edgewater, Florida; and five siblings, Susan Nachazel of Ohio, David Nachazel, Jr. of California, William (Mel) Nachazel of California, Tait (Amanda) Sayles of Elmira and Christina “Tina”(Donavan) Sayles of Vanderbilt.

 A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lighthouse Missionary Church, East Jordan.  Memorials may be directed to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
