Arbutus Darlene Steven, 80, died on Friday, July 3, 2026, at her home in East Jordan.
She was born on October 09, 1945, in Boyne City, Michigan, the daughter of Harold Ordeway andElenor Lillian (Harris) Cool.
She married Guy I. Stevens in 1961. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1997.
She loved all the family get togethers, that’s why she loved all the holidays especially Christmas. She loved candy so she had her children sneaking in candy to the hospital. She did love dogs, especially ‘Bear & Gizmo” as well as word searches.
She is survived by six children, Karen Warth of Gillette Wisconsin, Harold (Cherie Langin) Stevens of Boyne City, Penny (Jarred) Wiemann of Hampton, Virginia, Ann Stevens of Newport News, Virginia, Glen (Lynette) Stevens of Interlochen and Lisa Marie (John) Krchmar of Boyne City; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and special friends, Steve Thompson and Diana Farmer.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Daniel Cool, Norman Cool and Roy Cool; sisters, Joyce Smith and Katherine Kenneda.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 12:00 Noon at the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. in East Jordan. Pastor Bart Adams of the Lighthouse Missionary Church will officiate.
The family will receive friends on Friday from. 11:00 A.M. until service time.
