Arlene V. (Van Deventer) Wright

  Arlene V. Wright, 93, of East Jordan, died October 27, 2022, in Grand Rapids.

  She was born on February 13, 1929, in East Jordan, the daughter of William and Hazel (Morrison) Van Deventer.   On May 24, 1990, in Indiana, she married Darrell L. Wright.  He proceeded her in death on June 11, 2013.

  She is survived by six children, Janice Andringa of Grand Rapids, Pauline Fielstra of Grand Rapids, Larry (Susan) Fielstra of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law, Lynn Fielstra of Grand Rapids; six step children, Debbie McNeil of Traverse City, Christine Sherman of Cheboygan, Dean Van Paris of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Bob Wright of Coshocton, Ohio, Christine Wright of Coshocton, Ohio and Tom Wright of Coshocton, Ohio; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters, Leona (Lee Danforth of Arizona, Doris (Richard) Wieland of Florida and Hilda Karr of California.  She was also preceded in death by sons, Mark Fielstra and John Fielstra; daughter, Sharlynn Fielstra; and ex husband, Edward Fielstra.

  A graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at the Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan.

  The family was served by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. in East Jordan.
