Betty Lou Sellers, 77, of East Jordan, died Thursday, November 12, 2020, in Petoskey, Michigan.
She was born on April 23, 1943, in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Helen (Strickland) Lampton.
On February 5, 1968 in Granite City, she married Bobby C. Sellers. They were married for 39 years.
She was a member of the Harvest Barn Word of Life Church in East Jordan. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Betty loved her church and her family.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Tamatha (Timothy) Lane of East Jordan and Shawnee (Josh) Fulkerson of Mancelona; seven grandchildren, Linda Fetke, Mike Oliver, Kimberly Oliver, Cameron Sellers, Bryton Sellers, Madison Knapp and Charity Clark-Knapp; many great grandchildren; and one sister, Barbara Cox of Laramie, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Sellers, Sr.; son, Bobby C. Sellers, Jr.; and daughter, Shannon Harvey.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date next year.
Memorials may be given to the Charlevoix Area Humane Society, 614 Beardsley St, Boyne City, MI 49712. The family was served by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. in East Jordan.
