Beverly Jean (Frye Pearsall) Thompson

  Beverly J. Thompson, 79, of East Jordan, died Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Grandvue Medical Care Facility, East Jordan.

  She was born on September 20, 1941, the daughter of Claude, Jr. and Virginia I. (Bergman) Pearsall. 

    On July 26, 2015, in East Jordan, Beverly J. Frye married Arthur R. Thompson, Jr.

  Prior to entering Grandvue M.C.F., Beverly had been very active at the East Jordan Senior Center.  She enjoyed working on puzzles and walking.

  Beverly is survived by her husband, Arthur “Art” Thompson Jr. of East Jordan; three sons, Edward (Marie) Frye of East Jordan, Gary (Kala) Frye of Oakland, California and Douglas (Rebecca) Fry of East Jordan; two grandsons, Jarret Frye of East Jordan and Nakoa Frye of Oakland, California; one step-son, Arthur R. Thompson, III of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; three step-daughters, Shari Clemente of Livonia, Vicki Thompson of Wixom and Jennifer Sherman of Toledo, Ohio; and one brother, Rod (Lynn) Pearsall of Charlevoix.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Eugene Pearsall; and two sisters, Paygie Cabic Innis and Pat Lowder.

  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at the Lighthouse Missionary Church, 7824 Rogers Road, East Jordan.  Rev. Bart Adams will officiate.  Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery, Charlevoix.

  The family will receive friends at church on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until service time.
