Brian K. Simons

  Brian K. Simons, 50, of East Jordan passed away Monday, October 7, 2019 at his home in Jordan Township, Antrim County, Michigan.

  He was born on December 21, 1968, in Charlevoix, Michigan, the son of Billie Jo Haddix.

  On June 26, 1986, he met his sweetheart and they were together for 32 years before they married on September 9, 2018.

  He loved taking care of Tina and their furkids, Lilah, Sasha and Xena.  He also loved to help family and friends in need.

  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the drag races to help and watch friends.  He was also proud to have a great niece born on his birthday.

  He leaves behind his wife, Tina Marie Simons; dad, Brian Smith; his two aunts, Judy ( Ken) Barnes and Patricia Dean along with the nieces, Mandy, Carrie, Tammi and three others; four nephews; four great nieces; five great nephews; two very special friends, Kris and PJ along with many family and friends.

  He is proceeded in death by his mother, Billie Jo Haddix Smith; brother, Mike Haddix; father-in-law, Allen Freeman; and a very special furbaby, Chloe.

  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. at the Lighthouse Missionary Church in East Jordan.
