Carol Jean (Nyland) Craig

Carol Jean Craig, 75, of East Jordan died Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire.

  She was born in Petoskey, Michigan on December 8, 1945, the daughter of Howard and Myrtle (Hoffman) Nyland.  

  On June 14, 1986, in East Jordan, she married Gary Craig.

  Carol had worked 21 years in the kitchen at Grandvue Medical Care Facility in East Jordan. 

  Carol is survived by her husband, Gary Craig of East Jordan; two brothers, Bert (Nancy) Nyland and William Nyland, all of East Jordan; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

  She was preceded in death by three sisters, Joyce Kidder, Debbie Cadeaux and Mary Lou Morris.

  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at the United Methodist Church, 201 Fourth St, East Jordan, MI 49727.  Rev. Craig Pahl will officiate with interment of cremains following at Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan, MI 49727.
