Catrina Ann Norton, 51, passed away at her home in East Jordan.
She was born on November 4, 1974, in Traverse City. She grew up in Mancelona, East Jordan, and Ocala Florida. She graduated from East Joran High School in 1994.
Catrina enjoyed spending time in the Jordan Valley, road trips, playing horseshoes, singing and karaoke. She was an avid Detroit Lions fan. Most of all, Catrina loved gatherings with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Shawn Norton of East Jordan; daughters, RevaSue Norton of East Jordan and Angela (Izic) Inman of Petoskey; sons, Nickolas Norton of East Jordan and Kaleb Norton of Fremont, North Carolina; granddaughters, Brynlee Connin of East Jordan and Everly Wright of Petoskey; grandsons, Elijah Norton of Petoskey and Edison Inman of Petoskey; father, Claude (Roselyn) Cutler of East Jordan; grandmother, Phyllis Cutler of East Jordan; sisters, Claudette (Andy) Brooks of East Jordan and Cortni (Vincent) Cerda of Gaylord’s; brother, C.J. (Jessica) Cutler of East Jordan; seven step-sisters, Mandy (Allen) Plungis of Hartford and Angela (Dave) Barnes of Rockford; step-brothers, Bud Grody of Mancelona, Rich (Garnet) Grody of Mancelona, Gordon Grody Jr. of Mancelona and Jakie (Nancy) Grody of Kalkaska; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Billie Sue Drenth; maternal grandparents, Bill and Reva Drenth; paternal grandfather, Clifford J. Cutler; step-father, Gordon Grody, Sr. and step-brother, Jeff Grody.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Lighthouse Missionary Church in East Jordan. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Friends of the Jordan.
