Darcy Lee Argetsinger, 50, of East Jordan, peacefully passed away at home on January 4, 2022, surrounded by loved ones, after a short battle with Glioblastoma (brain cancer).
Darcy was born on January 2, 1972, to Gerry Eugene and Maxine Ann (Davis) Argetsinger in the bustling city of Charlevoix.
Darcy graduated from East Jordan High School in 1992. After graduation, Darcy started his own pizza business in Bellaire before moving on to a career in the manufacturing industry. He worked at Lexamar Corp. in Boyne City for 26 years.
Darcy was a loving father to his two sons and enjoyed spending time traveling with them and going to concerts.
Darcy loved to fish the big lakes and spend time trout fishing with his father in Deer Creek. He also enjoyed being in the outdoors hunting deer with his crossbow or a rifle. In the spring you could usually find him out in the woods hunting the elusive morel mushroom. Darcy loved the family cookouts down back of his fathers at the family camp. He enjoyed getting out and cutting firewood or logs to be milled or hop on one of the tractors and mow a field or till up some ground for the family garden or food plots for the deer. You could also find him riding his ATV trying to find mudholes to get stuck in with his favorite nephew, Jeremy Scott. He loved everything to do with the outdoors in every season.
He is survived by two sons, Brandyn Val Argetsinger of Royal Oak and Chrystian Lee Argetsinger of East Jordan; his parents, Gerry Eugene and Maxine Ann (Davis) Argetsinger of East Jordan; sisters, Kelly Lynn (Alan) Kava of Ellsworth, Julie Ann McGuire of East Jordan, Jodie Marie Thomas of East Jordan; nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and his dear friend, Peggy Gregware of Boyne City. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Max and Naomi Davis; and paternal grandparents, Harley and Helen (Bergmann) Argetsinger; three uncles and two aunts.
