Dawn Ruth Johnson, 77, went to be with her Lord on Monday, Tuesday, May 17, 2021, at her home in East Jordan.
She was born on March 29, 1944, in Charlevoix, the daughter of Harold Evart and Ruth Amelia (Jubb) Moore.
She grew up in East Jordan, Michigan and graduated from East Jordan High School.
Dawn worked most of her life at Big Rock Nuclear Power Plant. She retired from Consumers Energy in 2002.
She had many interests and hobbies but found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, friends, beloved pets and taking day trips on her motorcycle. She is survived by her three children, Holly Johnson (Scott Novotny) of East Jordan, Heather Steuber of Grand Rapids and Dan Johnson (Jewel Hanson) of East Jordan; one granddaughter, Kendra Hull (Drew Brooks) of East Jordan; and one brother, Raymond (Judy) Moore of Bellaire. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 11:00 am at the Lighthouse Church in East Jordan.
The family was served by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc., East Jordan.
