Debra Jo Hinton, 57 passed away peacefully August 19th 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on January 2nd,1967, in Charlevoix, the daughter of William Frances Hinton and Emily Lou Himebauch Stanek. She grew up in East Jordan.
Debbie loved painting in her younger years. She loved cooking and baking, spending time with her grandchildren and children, taking care of her 3 cats, Debbie cared for many animals throughout her years. She loved being outside planting flowers an relaxing enjoying the sun. She loved putting a smile on everyone's face.
She is survived by three children, Daniel (Holly) Hinton of Cross village. Wendy (Josh) Givens-Hahn of Ellsworth. Samantha Evans of East Jordan. Seven grandchildren, Jadika, Jesse, Alexis, Elizabeth, Haylee, Isaiah, Isabella, her mother Emily Lou Stanek of East Jordan, four sisters, Rose (Ken) Kassuba of East Jordan, Becky (Roger) McNeil of Bellaire, twin sister Donna Hinton of East Jordan, Kim Mellios of East Jordan, Kristina Burks of East Jordan, one step brother Glenn (Carolyn) Trumble; and her beloved friend of 9 years John Pixley of Charlevoix; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Debra was proceeded in death by her father William Francis Hinton, her step brother Darryl Trumble, her step father Robert (Bob) Stanek, her grandparents Clarance and Thelma (Lucille) Himebauch.
Debbie was loved by many and will be forever missed.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until whenever at Ellsworth Community Park.
