Donald Craig Goodrich

  Donald Craig Goodrich, 63, died Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at his home in Jordan Township, Antrim County, Michigan.

  He was born on September 21, 1961, in Detroit, the son of Donald Frank  and Jeanne (Addington) Goodrich.

  Donald served in the United States Army from 1980 to 1986.

  He married Mary Coots on April 24, 1990, in Macomb County.  They moved to the East Jordan area in 1994.

  Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing and generally being outdoors.  He loved spending time with his family.  He loved being a papa!  He had been a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Hazel Park.

  He is survived by his wife, Mary Goodrich of East Jordan; five children, Michael (Jessica) Dwornick of Elmira, Jesse (Jessica Somero) Coots of Waterford, Donald Frank Goodrich of East Jordan, Dawn (Jeff) Kraemer of East Jordan and Travis (Felicia Filipiak) Goodrich of East Jordan; 12 grandchildren; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.  Donald was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.

  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc., East Jordan.  Rev. Bart Adams of the Lighthouse Missionary Church will officiate with interment following at Ellsworth Cemetery, Banks Township, Antrim County. 

  The family will receive friends on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
