Ernest W.A. Sulkowski, 57, of East Jordan, died on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, in Petoskey.
He was born on August 13, 1964, in Midland, the son of Norman Alex and Rosaline Jean “Betty” (Hiner) Sulkowski.
His family first moved to East Jordan in 1967. They returned to Midland for three years and then moved back to East Jordan in 1976. He graduated from East Jordan High School in 1984.
He was a kid at heart and was an avid fan of Michigan State University. He enjoyed gaming and was a member of the GSN Casino.
He is survived by two sons, Billy Seder of AuGrey and Alex Sulkowski, Jr. of AuGres; three daughters, Odessa (Tyler Spagnolo) Sulkowski of East Jordan, Kiesha (Adam) Fuller of East Jordan and Erika Howes of Fife Lake; Ten grandchildren, Felix, Arris, Donovan, Alexis, Alana, Serenity, Bristel, Haven, Mya and Lacie; two sisters, Diana (Christopher) Avery of Hart and Darlene Ditlow of Traverse City; as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Jesse Alan James “Icavarg” Sulkowski; his parents; and his best friend, Stewart Graham.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc., East Jordan, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until service time.
Interment will be in Mt. Bliss Cemetery in Jordan Township, Antrim County, MI.
