Obituary
Gordon F. Anderson, 88, of East Jordan, Michigan died Saturday, January 28, 2023, at The Brook of Boyne City under Hospice care.
He was born on October 16, 1934, in Grand Rapids, the son of Melvin and Edith (Vincent) Anderson. On August 17, 1956, in Cascade, Michigan, he married D. Jill Anderson.
Gordon received his PHD and worked many as a Reach and Pharmacy Professor at Wayne State University. He retired in the late 80’s.
Gordon was very active as a pilot and hydroplane racer.
He is survived by one son, Richard Mark (Deborah) Anderson, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Gordon was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and one son, Thomas
Anderson.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
The family was served by The Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. in East Jordan.
