Howard “Fuzzy” Lake, 77, of East Jordan, died on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Grandvue Medical Care Facility, East Jordan.
He was born on October 27, 1946, in Hastings, Michigan, the son of Alfred Austin and Helen S. (Soville) Lake.
He worked 30 years at Harbor Industries in Charlevoix.
Howard enjoyed spending his free time at Northern Michigan Speedway and watching NASCAR and Andy Griffith.
He is survived by son, Steve (Amy) Lake of East Jordan, Michigan; five step-children, Larry (Katie) Ward of Bailey, Michigan, Robin (Jason) Wilbur of Delton, Dale Sharp of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Nick (Laurie) Sharp of Cheboygan, Michigan and Willy (Tiffany) Sharp of Pueblo West, Colorado; numerous grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; four siblings, Peg Mishler of Hastings, Michigan, Lyle Lake of Gun Lake, Michigan, Bob Lake of Wolverine, Michigan and Shirley (Ted) Hunt of Boyne City, Michigan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parent; four siblings, Ed Lake, Janice Lake, Bill Lake and Raymond Lake.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. at 4445 Miles rd East Jordan on June 29th.
