Jack Eldon Neumann

Jack Eldon Neumann, 77, died Friday, March 14, 2025, at his home in East Jordan.

  He was born on June 26, 1947, in Charlevoix, the son of Eldon and Ruth (Kamradt) Neumann.  He grew up in East Jordan and graduated from East Jordan High School in 1965, and Ferris State University in 1970.

   He married Mary Ellen Boring on March 22, 1997, in East Jordan.  She preceded Jack in death on October 17, 2022.

    He loved spending time with his family and classmates but especially with his granddaughter.

  Jack enjoyed deer camp, his golfing league and taking long walks through the Jordan Valley Trails

  He is survived by one son, R. Scott Daley of East Jordan; one daughter, Diane Walton of East Jordan; and one granddaughter, Drue E. Daley of Boston, Massachusetts; one brother, Dan (Katherine) Neumann of Conroe, Texas; one sister, Phyllis Surgener of Northeast, Pennsylvania; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Donna Neumann; three brothers, Ronnie Danforth, Robert Danforth and Larry Danforth; and one son-in-law, Matt Walton.

  No services are schedule at this time.  The family was served by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc., East Jordan.
