Jane Mae (Clark) Hand

  Jane Mae Hand, 79, of Petoskey, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Villa At The Bay in Petoskey, Michigan.

  She was born on July 30, 1940 in Bellaire, Michigan, the daughter of Wesley and Margaret (Dewey) Clark.

  Jane married Merle Gordon Hand on November 7, 1959, in Petoskey.  She drove bus for the Char-Em Intermediate School District.

  She is survived by her husband, Merle Gordon Hand of Petoskey; three children, Kaye (Dale) Miller of East Jordan, Richie (Elizabeth) Hand of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Kimberly (Edward) Stetz of Murphy, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Julie (Nick) Miller-Smith of Potterville, Keri (Josh) McCrabb of Dublin, Ohio, Garth Hand of Barbaboo, Wisconsin, Taylor Hand of Elmira, Donny Miller of Grandville and Ted Peck of East Jordan; five great grandchildren, Shayleigh, Colin, Kody, Lydia and Anthony; two great great grandchildren, Lucianne and Levi; and a brother, James (Cindy) McWatters of Petoskey.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeannie Hand.

  A private memorial service was held on Saturday, August 24, 2019.  Cremation interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Bellaire, MI.  The family was served by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. in East Jordan.
