Jerald Cihak, 72, died on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at his home in East Jordan.
He was born October 28, 1945, in Charlevoix, the son of Marlin Cihak and Margery Stallard Cihak.
On February 19, 1966, he married Dawn Alexander.
Jerry served in the United States Army for three years. He was a volunteer fireman and diver for the East Jordan Fire Department. Jerry also served on the East Jordan City Council. He retired from the East Jordan Iron Works, now known as EJ, USA, Inc.
He enjoyed being outdoors and taking fishing trips to Canada with his buddies.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Dawn; two daughters, Michelle Ford of Central Lake and Amy Cihak of East Jordan; his five grandchildren, Taya Karki, Kacey Karki, Kylie Cihak, Autumn Ford and Austin Ford; his brother, Gary (Barb) Cihak, and sister, Pat Pepin of East Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents and twin sister, Judy Detcher.
At Jerry's request, no services will be held.
