Jerry Lee Vrondran, 82, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, peacefully at his home in East Jordan, surrounded by his children.
Jerry was born on August 28, 1943, in Wilson Township, Charlevoix County, the son of William and Louise (Martin) Vrondran.
He grew up in East Jordan and graduated from East Jordan High School in 1961.
He married Judith “Juli “ Ruhling on February 6, 1971, in East Jordan. Together they ran a few successful businesses in East Jordan, including Jerry’s Body Shop, Towing and Snow Removal.
Jerry enjoyed going to the casino, working and most of all spending time with his family at his cabin in the Upper Pennisula.
Jerry is survived by his children, Carolyn Vrondran of East Jordan, Christopher (Kari) Vrondran of East Jordan, Christian (Caytee) Vrondran of Charlevoix, Justinn Vrondran of Las Vegas, Tammy Umlor of Harbor Springs, Tonia (Mark) Keller of Alanson, Jerry (Carol) Sayan of Harbor Springs and Monica (Alex) Stoneham of Oklahoma; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Juli on March 10, 2022; one grandson, Kyle Umlor on January 2, 2026; and four brothers, Alfred, Kenneth, Robert and William Vrondran.
