Joseph Gerard Rouleau, 66, of East Jordan, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in Petoskey.
He was born on September 4, 1958, in Monroe, Michigan, the son of Ernest and Luree (Foor) Rouleau. He graduated from Seaholm, High School in Birmingham.
On August 25, 1979, in Birmingham, he married Joy Jones. She survives.
Joseph worked in construction specializing in traditional log homes. He enjoyed martial arts, buggy rides in side by sides andcoaching hockey. He loved to fishing, waterskiing, camping, watching NASCAR racing and listening to music.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joy Rouleau of East Jordan; one son, Justin (Christina); one daughter, Carey (Nick Cole) Loper of Boyne City; five grandchildren, Ahna Rouleau, Jiri Loper, Freja Loper, Hunter Cole and Bretta Travers; one brother, Jeff (Rochelle) Rouleau of California; three sisters, Annette (Kim) Hopkins of Colorado, Rene (Roy) Bell of Nevada and Kathy (Steve) Ross of Michigan; two brothers-in-law, David Rose of Florida and Ric (Shawnee) Jones of Michigan; two sisters-in-law, Jeri Rouleau of Michigan and Sue (Dan) Conner of Missouri; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ron Rouleau, and one sister, Pat Rose.
