Judith Amy (Dexter) Haney

Judith Amy Haney, 82, of East Jordan.

On Saturday July 17, 2021, Judith Amy Haney, loving wife and mother of five children passed away at the age of 82.

Judy was born on July 31, 1938, in Detroit to Earl and Dolores Dexter.

On June 22, 1957, she married Joseph Haney. They raised two sons, Joseph Jr. and Paul and three daughters, Elizabeth, Susan, and Patricia.

Judy enjoyed her life as a homemaker, gardening, canning, and helping with the family farm. She also enjoyed sewing making beautiful quilts for others.

She was a devoted wife of 64 years before the passing of her husband, Joe on July 22, 2011. She loved her farm up here in East Jordan but after Joe's retirement, also enjoyed her winters in Florida being near her daughters.

Judy is survived by her 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 26th from 2-4 and 6-8 with a rosary at 7pm at Penzien Funeral Home in East Jordan.

The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 27th at 11am at St. John's Nepomucene Catholic Church, 4676 St. John's Road, East Jordan. Burial and luncheon will follow.
