Kenneth Willson

  Kenneth Willson, 66, of Wilson Township, died Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Grandvue Medical Care Facility in East Jordan.

  He was born on April 30, 1954, in East Jordan, the son of Clifton, Sr. and Phyllis E. (McDonald) Willson. 

  He graduated from East Jordan High School.  On February 1, 1975, in Wilson Township, he married Sharon Lee Hill. 

  Ken worked over 30 years for the East Jordan Iron Works, now known as EJ, USA, Inc. He retired in 2012.

  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and visiting every meat market in a 100 mile radius of home.

  He is survived by his wife, Sharon Lee Willson of Boyne City; four  children, Rob (Renee) Gibbs of Boyne City, Christopher (Tina) Gibbs of East Jordan, Tracy (Quentin) Musgrave of Boyne City and Diane (Kurt) Puffpaff of Boyne City; seven grandchildren, Blake, August, Ryan, Ross, Eddie, Amanda and Heather; ten great grandchildren; two brothers, Donald (Margaret) Willson of Marquette and Wayne Willson of Bellaire; and sister-in-law, Maxine Willson of East Jordan.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Arlene E. Hammond; and five brothers, Loren “Bud” Willson, Paul Willson, Burton Willson, Clifton Willson, Jr. and an infant brother. 

  A memory sharing service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at his home at 2562 Healey Road, Wilson Township, Charlevoix, MI. Interment  will be at Todd Cemetery, Wilson Township, Michigan.
