Lana Faye Midgett, 76, of East Jordan, died Monday, October 18, 2021 at Grandvue Medical Care Facility, East Jordan.
Lana was born in Highland Park, Michigan, on March 6, 1945, the daughter of Charles and Annie (Cherry) Bishop.
She enjoyed playing bingo, putting together puzzles, working in puzzle books, crocheting and other crafts.
She is survived by three children, William Midgett of East Jordan, Kimberly (the late Stan Scott, Jr.) Scott of East Jordan and Barbie (Charles) Porter of Decatur, Texas; four grandchildren, Lissa (Travis) Krussell of Boyne City, Corey Scott of East Jordan, Jonny Welborn of Olney, Texas, and Connor Porter of Decatur, Texas; three great grandchildren, Tyler Michael Krussell of Petoskey, Jeramiah William Krussell of Boyne City and Rennea Violet Krussell of Boyne City; one sister, Nancy (Joe) Czarnecki of Nocona, Texas; one brother, Leonard (Joann) Bishop of Hazel Park; as well as many nieces and nephews. Lana was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 3:00 P.M. at 305 Second Street, East Jordan, Michigan.
