Lillian B. Gee, age 101, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023, at her home in East Jordan.
She was born on September 23, 1922, in East Jordan, the daughter of Zell and Jessie (Manke) Bricker. Lillian grew up in the East Jordan and Ellsworth area. On September 28, 1940, in East Jordan, she married Glen R. Gee. He passed away on July 10, 2020.
Lillian was a stay at home mom who loved gardening, cooking, cleaning, canning and sewing.
She is survived by nine children, Jack Gee of Las Vegas, Nevada, Norma Patton of East Jordan, Carolyn McPherson of Traverse City, Glen (Gabriela) Gee Jr. of East Jordan, Eileen (Kenneth) Brady of Holland, Gerald (Lori) Gee of East Jordan, Debbie Gee of Boyne Falls, Joyce Dunson of East Jordan and Tracy Gee of East Jordan; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; fourteen great great grandchildren; one sister, Jeanette Muma of Charlevoix; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, George Patton, Jr. and Jerry L. Patton; one great grandson, Richard Gee; one brother, Elwood Bricker; one daughter-in-law, Sue Gee; four sons-in-law, Bill Dunson, George Patton, Sr., John Trojanek and David McPherson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. in East Jordan. Luanne Reed will officiate with interment following at Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Hospice of Michigan.
