Linda Crawford, of East Jordan, a true servant of God, has returned to her heavenly home on December 30, 2024.
She was a loving mother, grandma, sister, relative, and friend. She loved her Lord, family and friends unconditionally.
Her kind, loving and compassionate traits led her to be the wonderful nurse she was for over 35 years at Grandvue Medical Care Facility in East Jordan. Her passion was caring for the elderly and God gave her the talent to do this amazingly.
Linda enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis. She also enjoyed travel which she did with her sister and friends annually each Autumn for many years. She was a faithful member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. She taught her children and grandchildren the way of the Lord through example, she passed on the greatest gift a mother and grandma can give and that was her love of Jesus. She always said when it was her time to return to her Lord she wanted her memory to be only of praising God, acknowledging in thankfulness all the blessings He showered on her in life and for us all to give our lives to Christ completely.
She will be greatly missed by her adoring family. Her sister, Don & Margaret (Crawford) Gee. Her children, Steve & Lori (Hillaker) Kraemer, Chuck Hillaker, Todd & Lisa (Patton) Kesner, David & Chandra Patton. The lights of her life grandchildren; Stephen Kraemer, Chad & Jenna Kraemer, Whitney Kraemer & Ron Voncannon; Travis & Chelsea Hillaker, Alynne Hillaker, Andrew & Melanie (Hillaker) LaCount; Lauren & Sam Kesner; Sarah & Matthew Patton. Step-grandchildren; Laura & Matthew Blakeney.Deanna & Charlie Paige, Cory & Marie Walter. Great-grandchildren, Jonathan Hillaker-Cutler, Grey & Andilyn Hillaker; Aurora Kraemer; Mason & Avery Kraemer; Myles & Wyatt Voncannon; Jackson & Leo LaCount. Step Great-grandchildern; Cassie Williams; Miles & Mason Blakeney; Aurora Walter. Also, many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family.
Linda was preceded in death by her father George E. Crawford, her mother Gertrude (Hoffman) Crawford, step mother Margaret (Maley) Crawford, and her brother William “Bill” Crawford.
Linda’s presence made the world a kinder, happier place, she had a heart of gold, the most caring smile, and sharing God’s word was her real joy, loving her family made her world here complete. She will always be with us as we hold her in our hearts and it brings us peace to know she is healed and joyful in the loving arms of her Savior Jesus.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc., East Jordan with interment at Atwood Cemetery, Banks Township, Antrim County.
