Lyda Tisron Obituary

Lyda Mae Hopkins Tisron was born on Nov. 24th, 2022 in Charlevoix, Michigan to her mother and father who loved her more than life.

In her short time with them, she knew only the incredible amount of love they poured into their every last moment with her.  Her mommy and daddy were grateful for and blessed with each squeeze of their finger, curl of her toes, tremble of her lip, furrow of her brow, breath and fuss she could muster.  Though her life was short, it was clear how much she loved music and spent the last hours of her life being sung to by her mommy and her very last moments on Earth in the arms of her loving parents, Jessica Tisron and Daniel Hopkins, on Nov. 26th, 2022 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

She is survived by her big sister and biggest fan, Lillian Tisron of East Jordan, her beloved grandmother, Donna Bennett of East Jordan, her beloved grandfather, CSM David Hopkins of Lilliwaup, Washington, her uncle Daniel (Noelle) Tisron, her aunt Penny (Doug) Hopkins, her uncle David (Katie) Hopkins, her uncle Donald (Sarah) Hopkins, her aunt Susie Hopkins, her Godfather Kevin (Molly) Curtin and her Godmother Mary Segerdahl.  She is preceded in death by her beloved grandfather, David Tisron, whom we know is holding her tightly until we can be with her again.

In lieu of flowers and due to the unexpected death of Lyda Mae, the family is requesting that if you are inclined, any financial donations be made to Donna Bennett, 903 Huron St., East Jordan, MI 49727 to assist with funeral and medical costs and future memorials once the family has had time to process this devastating loss.
