Mary Ann Ciszewski

  Mary Ann Ciszewski, 62, formerly of East Jordan, died on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at her home in Boyne City.

  She was born on September 12, 1958, in Charlevoix, Michigan, the daughter of

Edward C. and Elizabeth M. (Stanek) Ciszewski.

  She grew up in East Jordan and graduated from East Jordan High School in 1976.

  She enjoyed playing baseball, basketball and running track.  She also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.

  Mary is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Ciszewski of East Jordan; two grandchildren, Marley Bean Fischl and Bowie Blue Fischl; five siblings,  twins, Gert “Trudi” Dunson of East Jordan and Betty (Richard) McKinnon of Shelby, North Carolina, Gary (Glenda) Ciszewski of Detour, Vicky (Keith) Smith of East Jordan and Michael (Michelle) Ciszewski of Traverse City; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Ciszewski on March 19, 2008 and a brother-in-law, Leon E. Dunson on October 12, 2008.

  Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Jordan.  Interment will be in St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery in East Jordan.

  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until service time at church.  Arrangements by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc., East Jordan.
