Nancy Louise Eby, 76, of Echo Township, Antrim County, Michigan, died on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Boulder Park Terrace, Charlevoix, Michigan.
She was born on June 7, 1949, in Charlevoix, the daughter of Gerald G. and Margaret J. (Lord) Derenzy.
She grew up in the East Jordan and graduated from East Jordan High School.
She married Gail Eby on June 15, 1968, at the United Methodist Church in East Jordan. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2025.
Nancy enjoyed bingo, casinos, word search puzzles and game shows. Mostly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine (William) Gardner of East Jordan; her three sons, Jeff (Diana) Eby of Newport, David Eby of Lakeland, Florida and Mark Eby of Lakeland, Florida; six grandchildren, Austin Eby, Alex Eby, Samantha (Blake) Brooks of East Jordan, Kathleen (Jeffery) Clark of Alba, Bill Gardner and Hailey (Joe) Houle of Petoskey; six great-grandchildren, Nick, Lana Ray, Preston, Scarlett, Barrett and Konnor; one brother, Chris Derenzy of East Jordan; four sisters-in-law, Carol Derenzy of East Jordan, Maureen Derenzy of Gaylord, Donna (Arlie Frye) Derenzy of East Jordan and Doris Eby of Ionia; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Tom, Brad and Glenn.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Lighthouse Missionary Church, East Jordan. Pastor J. Carrigan will officiate.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Lighthouse Missionary Church, East Jordan.
