He was born on March 7, 1961, in Charlevoix, the son of Harold and Janet
(Bennett) Olson. Norm grew up in Florida, moving to East Jordan in 1977 and graduated from East Jordan High School in 1979

Norm had many interests, but his life always revolved around the three F’s: family, football, and Florida.

He was an amazing father and grandfather, who always took the time to make you feel loved and never missed an opportunity to show up as your #1 fan.
Norm lived for football season. Come fall, he kept busy managing his many fantasy teams and keeping up with the latest stats. NFL or college, it didn’t matter, he watched them all.
Whether he was barefoot combing Gulf beaches for sharks teeth, or sitting poolside soaking up the sun, Florida is where he was happiest.
