Patricia L. Fay, 85, of East Jordan, died on Friday, April 29, 2022, in Charlevoix.
She was born on October 6, 1936, in Boyne City, the daughter of William, Sr. and Opal (Sandel) Tryon. Patricia graduated from Boyne City High School in 1955.
She married Lawrence J. “Larry” Fay on December 16, 1967, in Flint, Michigan. They made their home in Davison until Larry’s retirement in 1977. They then moved to East Jordan.
Patricia was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Boyne City. She enjoyed hanging with her friends, shopping, and going to Las Vegas. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by four daughters, Jan (Todd) Dean, Judy (Fred) Lang, Diane (Jeff) Dean and Cindy (Scott) Meade, all of East Jordan; seven grandchildren, Travis Nachazel, Trevor Meade, Derek Boyer, Sheena Boyer Saganek, Heather Farmer and Jodie Stace; numerous great grandchildren; and one brother, William (Ruth) Tryon, Jr. of East Jordan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Fay on August 14, 2022; a son, Michael Boyer; a grandson, Ryan Petoskey; and her parents, William, Sr. and Opal Tryon.
Private graveside services will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan.
