Patricia “Patsy” Sleva

  Patricia Carol Sliva, 83, of East Jordan, affectionately known as “Patsy”, died peacefully in her sleep on July 24, 2025, after a short illness.

  Patsy was born in Flint Michigan on April 24, 1942, to Joseph and Martha Sleva.

  In her young life, Patsy attended various schools and training facilities for the developmentally disabled near Flint, Michigan. Patsy moved to East Jordan in 1991 to live with her sister, Marian Daneff, after the passing of Patsy‘s mother. Patsy lived with Marian until Marian’s passing in 2017.
Patsy, then lived with Ms. Fran Mason of Ellsworth for a short time. She then resided with Kevin and Marlene Robinson in Boyne Falls, Michigan until April 2023. Patsy ultimately became an active resident at Grandvue Medical Care Facility, in East Jordan.

  Patsy’s favorite hobby’s were Bingo, (which she was good at) and watching Detroit Tigers Baseball. Her favorite Tigers’ player was Miguel Cabrera.

  Patsy was preceded in death by her father Joseph Sleva in 1973, her mother Martha Sleva in 1991, her brother Dennis Sleva in 2003, and more recently, her  sister Marian Daneff in 2017.

Patsy leaves behind a brother Thomas Sleva  of Linden, Michigan; nephews: Phillip(Lily)  Daneff of Dimondale, Michigan, Mark (Doreen) Daneff of  East Jordan, Michigan and Dennis (Chaza) Sleva Jr. of Grand Blanc, Michigan..
  A funeral mass will be held at St Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 30,2025, at 11:00 am. 
Interment will be alongside her parents and brother at the New Cavalry Cemetery, Flint Township Michigan, at a later date.

  The Sleva and Daneff family wishes to thank all providers who lovingly cared for Patsy these last few years.
