Patrick Arthur Fortune

  Patrick Arthur Fortune, 64, of East Jordan and formerly of Boyne City, died on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in Petoskey.

  He was born on December 1, 1957, in Petoskey, the son of Norman and Gloria (Coon) Fortune.

  Patrick had worked at the East Jordan Iron Works for some time and later, worked delivering appliances.  He enjoyed tinkering.

  He is survived by two sons, Corey (Jennifer) Fortune of East Jordan and Gary (Alondra) Fortune of Allendale; three granddaughters, Hannah Fortune of East Jordan, Auttumn Fortune of Allendale and Amelia Fortune of Allendale and; one grandson, Nathan Fortune of East Jordan; four sisters, Norma Waiseman of Boyne City, Yvonne “Bonnie” Leski of Mancelona, Gail (Mark) Bellmore of Wolverine and Susie (Brian) Meads of East Jordan; as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Casey and Michael Fortune.

  A private service will be held next year.  The family was served by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc., East Jordan.
