Phillip Carson Chapman

  Phillip Carson Chapman, 68, of East Jordan, died on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Grandvue Medical Care Facility, East Jordan.

  He was born on November 9, 1955, in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Lucian Lamaster and Normal Del (Rideout) Chapman.

  He grew up in East Jordan/Charlevoix area.  Phillip served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

  Phillip enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar and making Native American artwork. 

  He is survived by three children, Beau Tillotson of East Jordan, Hannah Donaghue of Tasmania, Australia and Norma Chapman of Flint; six grandchildren, Elliott Tillotson, Celiciti Tillotson, Lilli Donaghue, Violet Donaghue, Savanna Juipperi and Devon Juipperi.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, George Chapman and one sister, Tammy Chapman.
