Phyllis Jeanne Harkness

Phyllis Jeane Harkness, 70, of East Jordan, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025.

Born on February 6, 1955, to Virginia A. “Jinny” Kaake Giacomelli and Albert Giacomelli, Phyllis was raised in East Jordan and cherished her Northern Michigan roots throughout her life.o

Phyllis was known for her humor, warmth, and ability to make people smile wherever she went. She loved being surrounded by family and friends and was happiest at gatherings filled with laughter and good company.

Phyllis is survived by her sister, Suzie Finch; her children, David Griffin and Heather Griffin; and her grandchildren, Kaden Griffin, Vivyan Griffin and James Londgren. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love and laughter.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday June 13th 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Depot Beach Park, Charlevoix Michigan for family and friends to gather and honor her memory.
