Rick Allen Woehlert

  Rick A. Woehlert, 58, died on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at his home in East Jordan.

  He was born on June 13, 1964, in Mt. Clemens, the son of Roy E. and Kay M. (VanDerworp) Woehlert.  The family moved to East Jordan in 1971.  Rick graduated from East Jordan High School in 1982.

  Rick worked for the EJ, USA, Inc. in Elmira for 28 years.  He enjoyed hunting and kayaking.  His passion was wood working.

  Rick is survived by his mother, Kay Woehlert of East Jordan; two sisters, Kathy (Albert, Jr.) Legato of East Jordan  and Karol (John) Smith of Halstead, Kansas; one brother, Roy D. (Susan Groat) Woehlert of Aquilar, Colorado; as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his Father on June 28, 1999 and his sister, Karen Marie Woehlert on March 2, 2019.

  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. in East Jordan.  Rev. Karen Harriman of the East Jordan United Methodist Church will officiate.

  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. to service time.
