Robert “Larry” Huckle

Robert Lawrence “Larry” Huckle, 89, of East Jordan and formerly of Houston, Texas, died Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Grandvue Medical Care Facility, East Jordan.

  He was born on September 8, 1933, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of M.B. “Bill” and Doris (Speakman) Huckle.  Larry grew up in East Jordan and graduated from East Jordan High School in 1951.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in 1958.  He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict in communications.

  Larry is survived by four children, Mrs. Jackie (Denny) Beal of East Jordan, Roger Huckle of Austin, Texas, Mrs. Colleen (Ken) Ernst of Central Lake, and Larry (Lisa) Huckle of East Jordan; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.

  A private service will be held.  Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan.
