Ronald Wayne Persons

  Ronald Wayne Persons, 63 years old, peacefully passed in his home with his loving wife at his side on March 4, 2026, in East Jordan, Michigan. 
  He was born on June 24, 1962, and was raised in Flint, Michigan. He moved to Northern Michigan, where he raised his family. He enjoyed cooking at home and for One Water Street. Ron had a successful career and retired from East Jordan Iron Works. If you knew Ron, you knew he loved to have a good time and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed summertime the most, which included camping, bon fires, family vacations, and precious time with his family most of all. 
 
  He did not always lead by example but always showed his family unconditional love. He has survived by his wife Donna Persons, Bill and Melissa Nichols (daughter), Rocky and Trisha Peters (daughter), Nicole Persons (daughter), Tracy Persons (daughter), Tanya Persons (daughter), Peter and Chelsea Bixby (daughter), Tommy and Mae Goodburn (daughter), Tom and Joyce Persons (brother), Steve and Carol Persons (brother), Gail Denny (sister), many nieces and nephews, and numerous grandkids that he adored. 
 
He was preceded in death by Elenor Persons (mother), Shirley Howard (mother in-law), Sherri Persons (sister in-law), Jim Persons (brother), Clay Denny (brother in-law), and Tom Cat.
 
There will not be a service for Ron, but he would love for you to have a drink in his memory. As he always said, “Pay Attention” and remember there are lots of “Axxxoles and Attitudes” out there.
