Rose M. Jernberg, 81, died on Friday, February 25, 2022, at the home of her daughter in Wilson Township, Charlevoix County, Michigan.
She was born on April 5, 1940, in Fostoria, Ohio.
Rose was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Grayling, the Eagles in Grayling and had volunteered at the food Pantry in Grayling.
She is survived by five children, Charles R. Knop of East Jordan, William C. Knop of Fairbanks, Alaska, Vivian M. Knop of Cordova, Alaska, Carl L. (Nicole) Knop of Oakhurst, New Jersey and Katharine S. (Bret) Roehrig of Boyne City; five grandchildren, Carrie A. (Kyle) White of Mt. Pleasant, Kayla Knop of Oakhurst, New Jersey, Alyssa Knop of Oakhurst, New Jersey, John Roehrig of Boyne City and Nolan Roehrig of Boyne City; two great granddaughters, Katherine White and Piper White; one brother, Johnny (Linda) Gingerick of Bay City; two sisters, Sarah (Carl) Beck of Roscommon and June (Earl) Griffith of Grayling; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, David Jernberg; parents, Vivian and Clyde Koch.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church, Boyne City. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
