Ruth Ileane (Gee) Tryon

Ruth I. Tryon of East Jordan, departed from this life on November 13, 2025, at the age of 88.

  It is with deep love and heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother.

Ruth was a woman who shared her warmth and generosity though food.  She loved to cook.  Her home was always filled with wonderful aromas to share with best friends and family. Entertaining was not just a hobby, it is how she expressed love.

  Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, Bill Tryon.

  She is survived by her two daughters, Debra Wolfneden and Rhonda Tryon, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.    She was also preceded in death by one son, Terry Tryon and   five precious brothers.

  There is something about losing a mother that is permanent and inexpressible, a wound that never heals.

  We hope everyone will remember Ruth, as she truly was a kind but opinionated woman, strong to the very end.  Her legacy lives on in those she loved, in traditions and recipes she passed down, and in the unwavering strength she modeled through out her life.
