Sharon Dolly Russell, 78, of East Jordan died on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in Petoskey.
She was born October 22, 1946, in Petoskey, the daughter of William Herman and Alice Lucille (Carson) Clark.
She married Donald Duane Russell on November 18, 1964. He preceded her in death on July 11, 2007.
Sharon enjoyed bingo, crocheting, fishing, hunting, mushrooming for morels and going to the casino. She was an avid Detroit Tiger Fan. Sharon was a people person who enjoyed the company of her family and friends.
She is survived by four daughters, Freida (Rex) Gibbard of East Jordan, Katie (Rick) Ager of East Jordan, Shari (Kenneth) Klintworth of Charlevoix and Alice (James) Fales of Ellsworth; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Carolyn Nelson of New Port Richey, Florida and Janice Freeman of Alma, Arkansas. Sharon was also preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Karen Molly Cosier; grandson, Micheal Fales; and brother, Jack Clark.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion Hall in East Jordan.
