Shirley J. Hart

  Shirley J. Hart, 66, of East Jordan, died on Sunday, February 27, 2022 in Petoskey.

  She was born on October 6, 1955, in Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from East Jordan High School in 1974.

  On October 22, 1976, in East Jordan, Shirley married Thomas E. Hart.

  Shirley was a care giver in several ways over the years.

  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

  She enjoyed painting, making handmade cards and baking, especially cake making.

  Shirley is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Hart of East Jordan; son, Thomas E. (Danielle Neeb) Hart, Jr. of Ellsworth; and grandson, Thomas E. Hart, III of Alpena; two half-sisters; a half-brother; and one brother-in-law.  Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jean Manor and one sister, Gail Czopek.

  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at the Lighthouse Missionary Church in East Jordan.  Rev. Bart Adams of the Lighthouse Missionary Church and Elder Terry Belford of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will officiate.

  Memorials may be given to Charlevoix Area Humane Society, 614 Beardsley Street, Boyne City, Michigan 49712.
