Stanley Stewart Scott

  Stanley Stewart Scott, Jr., 60, died Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at his home in East Jordan.

  He was born on April 22, 1961, in Bellaire, Michigan, the son of Stanley Stewart and Alberta Violet (Robinson) Scott.

  He grew up in East Jordan.  Stanley married Kimberly Midgett on December 17, 1983, in East Jordan.

  Stanley drove truck as an occupation.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, four wheeling and snowmobiling.   Actually, he loved anything in the great outdoors.

  He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Scott of East Jordan; daughter, Lissa (Travis) Krussell of Boyne City; son, Corey James Scott of East Jordan; grandchildren, Tyler Michael Krussell, Jeramiah William Krussell and Rennea Violet Krussell, all of Boyne City; his father, Stanley Stewart (Connie) Scott, Sr. of East Jordan; six siblings, Cindy May Overmyer of Bedford, Kentucky, Daniel (Diane) Scott of Mancelona, Dave (Corinna) Scott of East Jordan, Larry (Debbie) Scott of Evart, Stewart Scott of Inglis, Florida, Rebecca Scott of Lewisberry, Pennsylvania; brother-in-law, William R. Midgett of East Jordan; sister-in-law, Barbie (Charles) Porter of Decatur, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Alberta V. Argetsinger on May 28, 1997.

  There will be a celebration of life service held on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at 8202 Ellsworth Road, East Jordan.  The family was served by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc., East Jordan, MI.
