Tammy Manross

Tammy Marie Manross, 55, of East Jordan, died Sunday, December 5, 2021, in Petoskey.

  She was born on March 13, 1966, in Chicago.

  She married William Manross on April 8, 1995.  She spent twenty nine years building a family together.

  Tammy had worked at Boyne Mountain in the cafeteria.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved all of her grandchildren.  She loved her dog little man.  She enjoyed flowers, traveling up to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and watching the Hallmark Channel.   Tammy was a very caring individual who loved helping others.   She was an amazing wife, mother, nana, sister and friend. 

  She is survived by her husband, William of East Jordan; daughter, Tracy (Dale, III) Reeves of East Jordan; sons, Brandon (Bailey) Mead of Lewiston and Michael Manross of East Jordan; her mother, Judy Slone of Owosso; mother-in-law, Christine Manross of Prairie, Texas; grandchildren, Larkyns, Kylie, Dale IV, Frankie, Dean and Kobe; one sister, Melanie (Jim) Gibbons of Boyne City; and one brother, Dale (Billie) Slone of Missouri.   She was preceded in death by her father, James Slone, and her son, Michael Dugger.

  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at the East Jordan Community Church, East Jordan.  Pastor Jason Richey will officiate.

  Memorial contributions may be directed to Kiersten’s Ride - Suicide Awareness and Prevention, 04316 Cosier Road, East Jordan, MI 49727 in memory of her son Michael Dugger.  The family was served by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc., East Jordan.
