Thomas Norton

Thomas J Norton born on September 11, 1954 was called home by the Great Spirit on January 30, 2023 at Elizabeth City Hospital in North Carolina. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Hill Cemetery in East Jordan on 8/19/23 @ 2:00 pm. 
  He is pre-deceased by his parents, Mitchell and Arloha Norton. He is survived by one brother, Eugene Norton and two sisters, Mary Norton Sitter and Spouse Timothy, and Patricia Norton. He is also survived by several Nephews and Nieces and great Nephews and Nieces. 
   Thomas graduated from East Jordan High School class of 1972. He attended Alpena Community College and enlisted in the US Navy Seabees Construction Unit and was classified as E4-BU3 from August 1974 and was honorably discharged in August 1978. His time of service allowed him to travel the world and experience many different cultures and food, which he enjoyed. He learned Photography and enjoyed learning to develop his own photos. He enjoyed taking photos of his travels and still life that he shared with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
