Thomas David Brennan, 57, of East Jordan, died on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in Flint, Michigan.
He was born on March 1, 1967, in East Jordan, the son of Mike and Mary (Martinek) Brennan.
Tom grew up in East Jordan and graduated from East Jordan High School in 1985. He attended Michigan Technological University and then received his Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Biology from Ferris State University in 1992.
On September, 25, 1999, in East Jordan, Tom married Tina Marie Parshall.
He first worked at the East Jordan Iron Works, now know as EJ, USA, Inc. in East Jordan and Bay Shore Steel Works in Bay Shore. His path then took him to Harbor Industries in Charlevoix.
Tom had also worked as the Chalet Edelweiss Host at Boyne Mountain, Inc. in Boyne Falls.
Tom was a great American patriot and community member. He loved our country.
Tom served the City of East Jordan as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals since 2022. He also served as a Republican precinct delegate for East Jordan to the Charlevoix County Republican Party.
Tom had a big heart and love for his friends and family. He enjoyed camping and canoeing trips on the Jordan River. He had a great love for music, his dogs and cigars. Tom was a cigar connoisseur.
He enjoyed talking to and meeting new people. Tom was known to always sport a big smile.
Tom is survived by his wife, Tina Marie Brennan of East Jordan; two sons, Thomas Brennan and Nicholas Brennan, both of East Jordan; two brothers, Michael (Laura) Brennan of Traverse City and Joe (Jamie) Brennan of Dyer, Indiana; one sister, Theresa (Brian) Radde of South Lyon; one sister-in-law, Wendy Brennan of North Carolina; as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tim Brennan.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Jordan Inn in East Jordan.
